Details:
The total load capability and load step resolution are 500KVAR @ 480 VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 50 KVAR resolution. The unit is equipped with a control power transformer to reduce the bus voltage to 120 VA for control power. There is a cooling fan located on the bottom of the enclosure to circulate air through the unit and exhaust out the top vents, the fan is energized as soon as the unit is turned on. Each capacitor has fused protection sized for each load step, the 50 KVARC load steps are fused @ 100 amperes and the 100 KVARC load steps are fused @ 200 amperes. All capacitors are equipped with current limiting reactors to limit the current during capacitor switching. Capacitors are equipped with internal bleed resistors. The CR500KVARC is equipped with forklift skid and is 44"x 76" x 82" and weight is 2005 lbs. |
