The CR1000 portable resistive load bank is primarily for indoor use for electrically loading and testing generators. The load bank is rated at 600 kW at 1000 VDC and 300 kW at 500 VDC. The load steps are 240, 120, 120, 60, 20, 20, 10, 5, 2, 2, and 1kW at 1000VDC. Load steps at 500 VDC are 120, 60, 60. 30, 10, 10, 10, 5, 2.5, 1, 1, and 0.5 kW. The fan motor is 5 HP, 3 phase and operates from 240/480 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz power. The load bank requires a 120V , single phase, 60 Hz, 20 amp source of power for operation of the control circuit. A 480/120V control power transformer is provided for powering the control circuit. Required power for the fan/blower is 240/480V, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 14.4/7.2 Amp per phase. The CR1000 must be used in a cool well ventilated area. A minimum of four feet of clearance from all sides and twelve feet of clearance on the exhaust end are required for proper airflow.
